M/S Skorpefjord is ideal for companies wishing to arrange company trips, and is certified for 48 passengers. Skorpefjord will operate regular tourist routes during the summer season, and will be available for charter hire year-round.
The archipelago outside Florø is an eldorado for tourists and blue-water companies. With its beautiful sun deck, M/S Skorpefjord is particularly suitable for charter trips, but all our boats are popular for this purpose. We adapt the boat to your needs; blue tours, company trips and other events. Both the tourist and charter market are growing in our region rich in nature and culture. For a number of years, Florø Skyssbåt has had the main responsibility for boat transport to Kinnaspelet , which is held every year on the third weekend in June - on the saga island Kinn in the far west of Norway.
About the vessel
The modern catamaran has a spacious lounge and everything on one deck. The boat is well suited for wheelchair users. There are TV screens in the lounge that can run information at conferences etc. There is also a wireless microphone on board that can be used for sightseeing and conferences.
In addition to regular passenger service, the multipurpose vessel will be popular for sightseeing and group tours with its large windows. The saloon has 48 seats, of which 44 are with table space, and there are outdoor areas on both the first and second decks. The sun deck on the second deck is certified for 35 people.
MS Skorpefjord is the only express ferry/passenger boat in the former Sogn og Fjordane that meets IMO Tier III requirements for NOx emissions.
